NFL/NBA
SO this weekend might be more important for the Browns than people think.
Rumor #1: When Ohio St. wins the national championship, Jim Tressel can and will opt out of his contract and look into coaching the Browns
i like this idea. Romeo Crennel is fine, but not great. Jim Tressel might be a good change, considering the second rumor
Rumor #2: Troy Smith said he wants to be the Browns saviour, and i like that. It sounds like right now he's slated at a late first round pick. if that stands true, we'd have a shot at him if we trade our 2nd round pick. This would be after we take Adrian Peterson with the 3rd pick of the draft.
Brady Quinn said he want to play for Cleveland, but wouldn't you if you had a choice between Cleveland, Detroit and Oakland?
Rumor #3: Miami Heat are interested in Mike Bibby and/or Ron Artest.
Please don't trade Bibby! i love me some Bibby, he's so cool. Please trade Ron Ron, he's only in it for himself. But i guess the Heat don't have much to offer, could this be another JWill for Bibby trade?
sidenote, JWill looks horrible these days. not only did he change his hairstyle and now it looks like he's standing in front of a fan all the time, but he's slow, not flashy, and he's got a bad back. the media ruined this player. he was the most exciting thing to watch when he came out, and all this talk about Ast to TO ratio and too many wild shots ruined Jason. thats terrible, i watch his clips on YouTube all teh time, Sacramento area fans are the worst, they don't know a good thing when they got it, like Adelman, JWill, Keon Clark, Mike Bibby. These are good players/coach, don't be fickle.
Rumor #4: Plummer to the Vikes, Culpepper to the Raiders.
whatever, these teams need help

I can't believe you said Sacramento fans are the worst. We all know Los Angeles holds that title, and there are plenty of other cities that could contend if your criteria is being fickle towards its players: boston, new york, philly? Also, of all the ex-kings you could have put on that list you use Keon Clark?!?!? He was never a great player which is probably why he puled a ricky williams to travel the globe and smoke pot.
dude, you know i love bibby too, but i wouldn't be against trading him, IF they could get something decent in return. and i don't see miami having anything decent to give the kings, haha outside of wade and/or dorrell wright. i'm not trying to watch jason williams for another couple years.
trades are fun to talk about...i just don't want them to make a move just for the sake of making a move. maybe they can make a deal with the sixers or the bobcats and try to get the first pick to take greg oden.
ps, jim tressell sucks.
keon clark rulez.
hey. . . at least Tressel can pay his players legally now . . . .
There will be no more blockbuster Heat trades this year. . they basically took the year off. . they will try to make a late, post all-star game push (who would you take over them in the east playoffs for 7 games ? )
Kings fans are never happy, the Kings suck for years and years, the new regime comes in with Adelman and we go to the playoffs like 10 yrs in a row, and what do they do? fire adelman.
musselman sucks, the players even went back to Adelmans offense.
never satisfied
lets bring back Gerald Wallace or Maurice Evans. someone exciting and dump Kenny Thomas.
oh, and Jason Hart is the worst player to ever wear an NBA jersey.
Plummer to the Vikings? Sigh. Things might get worse before they get better, which is a shame considering that the Vikings finally have a defense.
I'm not so sure I'd rather QB for Cleveland than for Detroit. The NFC North is soft and the Lions have a lot of receivers. There are a lot of problems, sure, but I'm not convinced the Browns will turn their franchise around first. This season was disappointing.
first off, i feel bibby is to soft and complains way to much...but at the same time he has been a clutch player for sac. no way will petrie trade bibby for jwill, even though jwill is my boy.
Miller needs to leave. Sac needs a center like dwight howard, young, talented and athletic. and im emarrassed to root for a team that jason hart is on...show some love for my boy ronnie price. mussleman will be gone after the kings dont make the playoffs this year, maybe look for an adelman return.
oh, and it is Manning's year...no not Eli, Peyton...Indy will win it all.
